Windows utilities

Microsoft Windows are improving everyday, so are the windows utilities . Remember windows 3.1 and compare it with the latest windows vista. There is a lot of difference between two of them but the main concept of creating windows environment are same in both of them.

There are a lot of tools for windows that do not come with the operating system but very useful to have on your computer. In recent years I have found a lot of tool that needs to be added in windows system, but they are not. These tools give a windows user much more dept knowledge about his system. One most important part of the windows tools are the collection of windows sysinternals. I found them very useful and anyone can use them as these are free to use.

Also there are a lot of third party tools that are free but very handy to use. In this section I will give you list of utility tools I have been using for a long time and found very useful.

Utilities From Microsoft

Microsoft has release some utilities what they called "Windows sysinternals" are very useful and powerful. Sysinternals was a website (formerly known as "ntinternals") operated by the company Winternals Software LP, which was located in Austin, Texas. It was started by software developers Bryce Cogswell and Mark Russinovich in 1996, and was acquired by Microsoft on July 18, 2006.

The Windows shell-development team did some extra programming and put together a set of tools called Power Toys.
